# The Skinny

A young woman saves her town from a killer, only to be time-warped into a parallel universe where nobody knows who she is, and the killer's still alive.

# The Good

I love movies with Justin Long. Whether it be Apple commercials, the original Jeepers Creepers, or that weird, crazy (and crazy good) Barbarian, I feel like we as the audience are at least going to enjoy his performance, even if the movie he's in isn't that great.

# The Bad

The movie he's in isn't that great. It got off to kind of a fun start with an all-dressed-in-white Ghostface-esque killer, sparking what I thought would be a smart "Who's the killer?" type of vibe. I sat up in my chair, ready to engage my brain! But then things just get weird - and when the parallel universe portion of the movie started, my parallel Brian self wished it was off indoor skydiving at iFly. I think the movie wants us to believe it has smart writing like some of the Scream series, but it's just not the case. Confusing plot, characters we don't care about, few scares and dull kills.

# The Ugly

This will make sense if you see the movie, but at one point you might go "Oh good, this character is back and so the movie will get good again!" But it doesn't.

# The Bottom Line

I wasn't bored, but the movie's title is the most clever thing about it.
